Nurses
Doug joined Medflight in June, 2005, bringing well over 10 years of SICU and trauma experience with him. Doug enjoys camping, snowmobiling, and spending time with his wife Jenny and family. When you see Doug, be sure to congratulate him on being our Outstanding Nurse of the Year!
Therese joined Medflight in 1991. She has background experience in the E.R. Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation, and General Medicine. Therese enjoys cooking and spending time with her son and daughter.
Stacey Lang, R.N.
Pat has been with Medflight since 1998. Her background experience is from Trauma-Burn and the E.R. Pat was a volunteer firefighter for 8 years. She is also active in promoting and organizing Mock Accident programs with area schools.
Sharon McLeod, R.N., BSN, EMT-P
Sharon joined Medflight in February 2002. She has well over 15 years of nursing experience, including the E.D., N.I.C.U., and Cardiac Cath Lab. Sharon enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends.
Medics
Mike Caryl, EMT-P
Mike joined Medflight in January of 2001. He has been a Paramedic for well over 10 years, and has dispatch experience as well as Mobile I.C.U. experience with Huron Valley Ambulance. Mike's hobbies include playing sports such as ice hockey and softball.
Andy joined Medflight in November 2006. He brings well over 12 years of experience, including over 6 years of Mobile I.C.U. experience with Huron Valley Ambulance. Andy enjoys playing golf, hockey, and boating. Congratulations Andy, on being our Outstanding Medic of the Year!
Jeff Shoemaker, CCEMT-P
The newest member of our medial crew, Jeff joined Medflight in July, 2008. Be sure to welcome Jeff when you see him!
Jim joined Medflight in July 2002. He has been a Paramedic for well over 10 years, including Mobile I.C.U. experience with Huron Valley Ambulance. Jim was also a Medic in the U.S. Army for over 4 years.
Dan Wingard, FP-C, EMT-P.
Dan joined Medflight in July 1999. He has well over 10 years of E.M.S. experience, including M.I.C.U. training. Dan has a degree in secondary education, and has taught high school science and mathematics. He is also currently a Battalion Chief of a local, paid-on-call fire department. Dan enjoys mountain biking, water skiing and backpacking.
