P.R. Events
We are proud of our continued and strenuous efforts to be a leader in our community when it comes to safety and public awareness. Here are some of the many ways in which we take a proactive role in achieving our goal of meeting the needs of the many communities that we serve. Please call with any questions you may have. Landing
Zone Classes
Annual recertifications with C.E.U.'s provided. Didactic presentation followed by class participants actually setting up a L.Z., with the aircraft arriving for tours.
Mock
Accidents
Designed to educate high school aged young adults about the tragedies and consequences associated with drinking and driving. An in-depth and involved presentation from start to finish, including extrication with local Fire Departments, Law Enforcement agencies, and E.M.S. agencies. A fantastic public awareness tool that does an excellent job making our young adults more aware of the life changing consequences of their decisions.
Guest
Speaking
We present didactic and practical information at many institutions and on many subjects. We have instructors for PHTLS, BTLS, ACLS, ACLS-EP and BCLS on staff. We welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge base and our experiences with you, while learning with and from you in return.
Fire Safety
During fire safety week, and many other times throughout the year, we work closely with area Fire Departments to promote fire and carbon monoxide awareness. We frequently attend Fire Department open houses, giving aircraft tours.
Base
Days
One of the most popular ways that we interact with the outstanding organizations that we serve is through our Base Days. This is a unique program that builds familiarity between our staff and the many departments with which we work. This is an opportunity for everyone to see the helicopter and have questions answered, as well as a chance for us to work alongside of you.
