Preparing Patient For Transport
1. Copy patient's chart, transfer information and x-rays for crew.
2. Trauma patients Always need to remain immobilized on a long backboard.
3. Secure a second I.V. when possible.
4. Change glass I.V. bottles to plastic when possible.
5. Verify helipad is secure with security.
